Popular diet types fail in the long term

Research has shown that keeping weight off in the long term becomes more difficult.

Yes, it may be easy to lose weight in the short term - just cut calories right? “Go for Keto?”, “Let me try intermittent fasting”, “Have you heard that new diet!?” etc. Restrictive dieting is not sustainable and can sometimes be unhealthy.

There is a plethora of misinformation online and it can be difficult to make sense of what is evidence based.
